As you can plainly see from the photos, it seemed like a fantasy we were fortunate to be a part of, and if it weren’t from the evidence of photography, it probably would have remained a fantasy. Solenn Heussaff: a woman difficult to describe without sounding like a speechless fool; a woman who poses more of a challenge in trying to describe something wrong with her than trying to describe everything that’s right. Seven years ago, when nobody knew who she was, we launched a magazine and put her on the cover. Seven years and three covers later, both the magazine and Solenn have rewritten the rules of publishing and superstardom, by being classy, sexy, smart and outrageous without being outrageous, by being as successful and overachieving as anyone can be, but knowing where to draw the line where it should be drawn, even if you can’t properly explain what that line is. It is a sweet spot, and both the magazine and Solenn are enjoying it, but Solenn, being an actual personality, has achieved a personal level of mass popularity that needs no further explanation unless you’ve been living in the quiet solitude of a cave for the past decade. Now we’ve launched a second magazine, and Solenn’s got a friend she’d like us all to meet.

Her latest idea: “I want to pitch and produce a Wild Things/Cruel Intentions type movie,” she says, “Something sexy, a bit dark, with some comedic relief, but really pushing the limits. I think it would be nice to venture into trying to produce a movie. Right now we’re just doing a synopsis and my manager is talking to directors, so we can find out who’s interested or not.” Solenn has remained relatively scandal-free because she doesn’t go around in circles whenever she’s being interviewed. “Everybody knows I’m with Nico but I won’t let anyone ask him how he feels when I do a kissing scene, because it’s so shallow.

There are normal people in showbiz and there are people who breathe it, they are programmed to answer the same questions in the same way. It’s a different life,” she says. “I’ve met a lot of good people, too. A lot of talented people that don’t get the break they deserve.” One thing she is particularly proud of is a short film she did in Tokyo. “I play a Japanese-Filipina who meets an American photographer who’s not inspired anymore. He falls in love with Japan through her eyes and her perspective.” Solenn Heussaff is the second child of Cynthia Adea, a Filipina, and Louis Paul Heussaff, a former French Marine of Breton descent,who is now the head of a service company for the petroleum industry. She has an older sister named Vanessa and a younger brother named Erwan . Before she entered showbiz, she was an endorser of several products in and outside the country. She is currently endorsing Vitress Hair Solutions, Asian Secrets, Argentina, Century Tuna, Greenwich Pasta and Robinsons Land Corporation.

Right after Survivor Philippines, GMA Network already had several projects lined up for her. She became one of Richard Gutierrez's leading ladies in the movie My Valentine Girls alongside Lovi Poe. In the movie, she played the role of Richard's best friend who later became his girlfriend. She was also chosen as one of the leading ladies of Richard Gutierrez in the telefantasya Captain Barbell, which started airing on March 2011. She currently has a makeover show on GMA News TV which also started airing on the same month and year. Her role was that of a reporter named "Janna". She had a limited airing time in the show because of other projects such as Temptation Island which she starred alongside Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe and Rufa Mae Quinto.

She clenched the FHM's Sexiest Woman in 2014 again after her prior win the year before setting the record of three consecutive victories on FHM's Sexiest Woman. he men's magazine on Friday announced, through its website, that Rivera bagged again the coveted title, her third since topping the list in 2008 and 2013. Out of a total 13 million votes, the GMA-7's Primetime Queen received 1,529,974 votes, almost double in number from her last year's figure (890,490). Rivera is one of the tv network's biggest and busiest stars today. The actress recently topbilled evening series "Carmela," joined noontime variety show "Eat Bulaga," and launched her self-titled dance program. She also endorses Belo Medical Group and clothing line Bench. Following Rivera's lead are Sam Pinto (1,482,072 votes), "The Legal Wife" actress Angel Locsin (1,042,226 votes), Jennylyn Mercado (1,025,702 votes) and Cristine Reyes (858,283).

n 2008, Rivera played the title role Dyesebel which aired on April 28, 2008, the famous Philippine mermaid character acted by many famous Filipinos actresses from as early as 1970. The series is another team-up with Dantes who. The year also marked Rivera's first lead role opposite Richard Gutierrez in a Valentine film by GMA Films entitled as My Best Friend's Girlfriend. In the same year, the Dantes-Rivera love team debuted in a film, One True Love directed by Mac Alejandre which grossed more than her film with Gutierrez.Aside from the two films, she also acted in two Metro Manila Film Festival entries such as Shake, Rattle & Roll X, an omnibus horror trilogy in which she played the role of Nieves:The Engkanto Slayer and Desperadas 2, a sequel of her 2007 movie with Rufa Mae Quinto, Iza Calzado and Ruffa Gutierrez. Rivera played the role of Narda, who turns into the superheroDarna, after swallowing a magical stone. Nestor Torre of Philippine Daily Inquirer described the series as "loud and livid", praising Rivera's acting.

Later that year, Trillo and Rivera teamed-up for the second time on the horror-suspense film Tarot produced by GMA Films and Regal Entertainment. According to Manila Bulletin, it is Rivera's scariest film after Pamahiin and Shake, Rattle and Roll. She also appeared on her first sitcom, Show Me Da Manny alongside Filipino boxing champion, Manny Pacquaio. According to Philippine Star, Rivera showed a natural comic skill. In an article on it’s website, the magazine announced that the actress won the title with more than 1,529,974 votes, making her the first Filipina to win the title for three years. Marian won the title in 2013 and in 2008. On it’s official Instagram account, FHM congratulated the actress.

Rivera was born in Madrid, Spain to Francisco Javier Gracia Alonso, a Spaniard and Amalia Rivera, a Filipina from Cavite, Philippines. After her parents separated 2 years after her birth, her mother brought her to the Philippines where she grew up most of her life. However, her mother had to leave to continue her work commitment abroad that she was sent to her maternal grandmother, Francisca Rivera in Bacoor, Cavite. Rivera pursued her elementary and high school education at Saint Francis of Assisi College System, and spent her college education finishing Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in De La Salle University Dasmariñas. After graduating, she worked for National Institute of Mental Health in Mandaluyong City where she gave out medicines, examinations and evaluation to patients, among others. She also tried becoming a SPED teacher before she was discovered for showbiz.

After two consecutive Sunday youth-oriented shows, Padilla finally landed a role in a primetime television series in Princess And I. Coincidentally, both premiered in the same day of 28 June 2010. Her breakthrough role was Mara in the remake of Mara Clara with her co-star and real life best friend Julia Montes. Since its premiere, the TV series was a consistent leader in primetime ratings. She cited Daniel's "bad boy aura" and Kathryn's vibe similar to the girl protagonist as the reason why they perfectly fit the roles. She’s Dating the Gangster is the story of Athena Dizon who falls in love with her fake boyfriend Kenji de los Reyes, a gangster and a campus heartthrob. With the success of movies adapted from best-selling books such as Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo, Star Cinema is now creating waves with this new project. Aside from She’s Dating the Gangster, the film outfit is also adapting the bestselling Precious Hearts Romances title of all time, Once A Princess to be topbilled by Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales (read more about it here). The movie adaptation of She's Dating the Gangster will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the director of KathNiel's romantic series Got to Believe. The production team targets filming this March 2014.
