Korea's Upcoming Drama ‘Temptation'

A total of three posters were revealed where it showed the main actors who will be appearing in the drama.In the posters, Kwon Sang Woo, Choi Ji Woo, Park Ha Sun and Lee Jung Jin’s different moods are shown, leaving a strong impression. All the actors are seen looking at different directions but there’s a certain tension between all the actors. Choi Ji Woo and Lee Jung Jin have their eyes towards Kwon Sang Woo and Park Ha Sun. SBS’s upcoming drama, “Temptation,” has become a hot issue when actors Kwon Sang Woo and Choi Ji Woo have been confirmed as the main casts.  In the drama, Kwon Sang Woo and Park Ha Sun are a married couple and so are Choi Ji Woo and Lee Jung Jin. Many are suggesting that there will be a certain tension and a change in emotion. In the second poster, Choi Ji Woo has a dreamy-like feel, while Kwon Sang Woo is seen with a complicated facial expression. In the drama, Kwon Sang Woo plays the role of Cha Seok Hoon and Choi Ji Woo plays the role of Yoo Sae Young, who suddenly enters Cha Seok Hoon’s life. Through Sae Young, Seok Hoon goes through many complications and both actors were able to portray this perfectly through their facial expressions. In the last poster, Kwon Sang Woo is being held in Park Ha Sun’s arms, creating a warm atmosphere that shows the emotions of a married couple.


According to an official of this drama, they said, “Even when filming for the poster, the actors were focused on their characters that they thought of every little detail that would match their character. They expressed their characters perfectly that when you look at the poster, you can get a feel of the relationship of all four characters and what kind of characters they are. I’m sure we’ll see a good result thanks to the actors’ hard work.” Meanwhile, “Temptation” focuses on four characters that try to find the meaning of love. The first episode will be aired on July 14.

She's Dating the Gangster Movie

After two consecutive Sunday youth-oriented shows, Padilla finally landed a role in a primetime television series in Princess And I. He played Gerald Antonio "Gino" dela Rosa or Dasho Yuan Rinpoche, a character whom he describes as "a swaggering rich kid who will change and sacrifice a lot for the sake of love". The romantic-comedy royalty-themed series did well in the ratings, having reached the 40% mark and placed second behind Walang Hanggan. On May 28, 2012, Padilla released his debut self-titled Album, Daniel Padilla. The album has six tracks with the carrier single "Hinahanap-hanap Kita", which is also featured in his primetime show Princess And I. According to Star Records producer Jonathan Manalo, Padilla's debut album sold more than 10,000 copies in less than a week. On June 17 of the same year, Padilla was given a Gold Record Award for the sales of his debut album and later on sold more than 30,000+ copies and reached Double Platinum. On April 14, 2014, Star Records will release Daniel Padilla's new album. I Heart You is one of the singles in the said album. In 2010, Bernardo went on to dramatic roles by landing the role of the young Victoria in ABS-CBN's Magkaribal and in GMA's Endless Love as the young Jenny. Coincidentally, both premiered in the same day of 28 June 2010. Her breakthrough role was Mara in the remake of Mara Clara with her co-star and real life best friend Julia Montes. Since its premiere, the TV series was a consistent leader in primetime ratings. Affirming its success, the show was nominated in the 2011 Banff World Media Festival in the "Telenovelas & Soap Operas" category.

After the primetime teleserye finished, Bernardo soon began appearing in the Sunday afternoon teen show, Growing Up. In a Candy Mag interview, the author said that she's seeing Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo bringing her characters to life if ever the work will be adapted into a movie. She cited Daniel's "bad boy aura" and Kathryn's vibe similar to the girl protagonist as the reason why they perfectly fit the roles. She’s Dating the Gangster is the story of Athena Dizon who falls in love with her fake boyfriend Kenji de los Reyes, a gangster and a campus heartthrob. With the success of movies adapted from best-selling books such as Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo, Star Cinema is now creating waves with this new project. Aside from She’s Dating the Gangster, the film outfit is also adapting the bestselling Precious Hearts Romances title of all time, Once A Princess to be topbilled by Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales (read more about it here). The movie adaptation of She's Dating the Gangster will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the director of KathNiel's romantic series Got to Believe. The production team targets filming this March 2014.

The heart-wrenching story of She’s Dating the Gangster tells the tale of two teenagers namely, Athena Dizon and campus bad boy Kenji de los Reyes who begin a pretend relationship and later blossomed into something deeper. According to the interview of Candy Mag, author Bianca Bernardino said that Kathniel love team best fit the leading characters of her book due to Daniel’s “bad boy aura” and Kathryn’s vibe similar to Athena’s character.

Block B Makes New York Fans Cheer

Overcoming their pressure for the first performance, the Block B members presented powerful performances. The fans also responded passionately by singing along Block B’s songs. Zico said, “I didn’t expect such an enthusiastic response in New York and I felt very touched. We will do our best for our performances in Washington D.C and Florida as well.” On February 25, 2014, the K-Culture Festival in Germany announced that Block B was scheduled to appear at the September 14 festival in Dusseldorf. Two days later, the concert organizer Jazzy Group US announced that Block B would be touring three U.S. cities - New York, Miami, and Washington D.C. in June. Tickets for the U.S. tour went on sale March 22. On March 26, 2014, Seven Seasons released teaser videos for Block B's upcoming variety show, Five Minutes Before Chaos, which premiered April 10 on MNet. On March 31, Block B held the pre-sales for their first concerts in Korea, "2014 Blockbuster." Ticketing was opened exclusively to the Block B fanclub members, who bought up all the seats for Block B’s first concert in Olympic Park’s Olympic Hall. Block B held their first Korean concerts on May 17 and 18 in Seoul, and May 23 and 24 in Busan. Seven Seasons announced on April 8, 2014, that Block B would be releasing new album titled Jackpot. The video for the album's title track, "Jackpot," was released April 15, while the album itself was scheduled to be released April 17. Although the physical album was released, the digital release and the group's comeback were canceled following the capsizing of a South Korean ferry carrying more than 400 people. Seven Seasons created a YouTube channel in which they uploaded Block B videos. On August 31, 2013, Seven Seasons released U-kwon's teaser video, which featured him jogging through urban Seoul, with the question "Do you wanna B?" at the end. Following that was JaeHyo and P.O.'s teaser released on September 4, showing the two suiting up. That teaser also ended with the question: "Do you wanna B?" On September 17, 2013, Block B announced their pre-released single via Seven Seasons' YouTube channel. The single "Be the Light" featured Taeil's singing voice with a short clip of their MV accompanying it. The full video was released September 22, 2013. The song reached #14 on the Gaon digital chart in the first week of its release. Block B released their next mini-album, Very Good, with five songs, on October 2.  The group also released a video of the title song,along with a "Maximum Close Up Version" on October 7 and a "Dance Like BB Version" on October 15.

It was announced in early January that Block B would make their return with a new mini album titled Welcome to the Block. On January 13 a trailer for the album was released and soon after on January 27, a fifteen second preview of their new single "Nalina" ("Go Crazy") was revealed. A second teaser was also revealed three days later. On February 1, "Nalina" was unveiled to the public and Welcome to the Block was deemed an "all kill" on various music sites, however, two songs from the album ("LOL" and "Did You or Did You Not") were banned as inappropriate for minors by The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (MOGEF) and KBS. In February 2012 Block B came under fire for a mistranslation of a video from an interview that had taken place in Thailand a month earlier. In response, the members issued letters of apology and released a video on their record company's YouTube channel. As result of this incident, leader of Block B, Zico, also shaved his head to demonstrate his remorse. Block B returned in October – eight months after their last comeback with their first full length album, Blockbuster. For this album, the group moved away from their usual hip-hop sound to incorporate many different music styles. Most of the songs on the album were written or produced by the members. The title track "Nillili Mambo" was well received and ranked number 10 on the "Billboard World Albums Chart." Block B released a statement saying, "We’re thankful to everyone who loved us endlessly even after a long wait. We worked hard to prepare for this album, so we hope more people enjoy it together. We’re going to work hard to keep making good music." On November 30 Block B performed for the first time in the MAMA awards at the red carpet pre-show event in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre with their song "Nillili Mambo." Block B's leader Zico performed for a special hip-hop stage called "Beats Rock The World," along with artistes Dynamic Duo, Double K, Davichi and Loco. Block B has successfully launched a showcase tour in three American cities. Seven Seasons, Block B’s agency, announced on June 25, “Starting with New York showcase on June 22, Block B headed to Washington D.C on 24 and will be performing in Florida on 27. The group will be visiting Taiwan in July to meet with the Chinese speaking fans.” Block B launched a showcase in New York Theatre at Westbury on June 22. The showcase gathered about 1,000 people.

Block B is a South Korean boy group created by Cho PD under his label Brand New Stardom, who after a controversy, moved to a new label Seven Seasons. On April 15, 2011, they made their debut on KBS Music Bank with their promotional single, "Freeze!". The group consists of seven members: Zico (Woo Jiho), Lee Taeil, B-Bomb (Lee Minhyuk), Ahn Jaehyo, U-Kwon (Kim Yukwon), Park Kyung, and P.O (Pyo Jihoon). The members of Block B have dancing, rapping, composing, and singing experience. Block B is short for the term Blockbuster. The group has its roots in hip hop but has branched out into different genres.

About four years ago, I went full-time. Encouraged by my modeling agency, I started taking part in competitions. It was a great experience and I learned a lot about presenting yourself in front of a big crowd. I never intended to get this “bikini girl” image. When I went full time, I tried out a few styles, but this is the one people liked. Naturally, people wanted me for that again and again. That’s fine. It’s not like just anyone can be me. I never said I liked to be in men’s sexual fantasies, I just said I can’t control what they think. People can like me in whatever ways they want to. Even the most innocent girl in the most proper outfit can become their sex object. Hong Kong as a city can be open and welcoming. Russia and South Korea Play to 1-1 Draw After Keeper's Blunder

The match was lifted from its torpor by the goal after a chess-like first half of ebb and flow in which young South Korea striker Son Heung-min put two chances well over the bar. Kim Woo Bin

When he was asked to act at pre-meetings for commercials, Woo-bin began studying acting to become a better model. He said, "But, in the course of doing so, I found myself feeling the same thrill and enthusiasm that I felt the first time I came to walk on the runway." Under the stage name Kim Woo-bin, he made his acting debut in 2011, starring in mystery drama White Christmas and the cable sitcom Vampire Idol which was originally scheduled for 120 episodes, low viewer ratings lead to the show’s end at only 79 episodes. In 2012, he had a supporting role in the romantic comedy A Gentleman's Dignity. Also, he appeared in the drama To the Beautiful You. Instead of desiring to become an actor, Kim wanted to pursue a modeling career since his high school years. He debuted as a runway model in 2009 at the age of 20 and has since been appearing in prêt-à-porter and Seoul Fashion Week collections until the present. His career slowly made its way up and soon enough, he started doing commercials which required basic acting skills. Obviously, he was lacking in this area. Not only he obtained a role model (Won-joo Moon) in the process of receiving acting lessons, this is the first time where he fell in love with the acting career.

2013 became his breakout year. First, he joined the ensemble cast of up-and-coming actors in the teen drama School 2013. This was followed by Kim Eun-sook's high-profile trendy drama The Heirs, in which he played the rebellious chaebol heir to a hotel and resorts chain who falls into an unrequited love. His popularity rose after The Heirs, which led to increased advertising contracts and acting offers. Later that year, Kim appeared in his first major film role in Friend 2, the blockbuster sequel to Kwak Kyung-taek's 2001 box office hit. Calling his role of a rising Busan gangster as "the ultimate in rebel roles," Kim said he loved the original film so much that when he heard a sequel was being developed, he pursued getting cast without even reading the script, gaining 9 kilograms for his role. He also became the host of cable music program M! Countdown beginning August 15, 2013.

Last September Kim Woo Bin announced publicly that he was dating fashion model Yoo Ji Ahn. So fans were surprised to learn this week that the couple had broken up four months ago but decided to keep it private until now. At the time that Kim Woo Bin went public with his relationship, his agency, Sidus HQ, said that the actor was not the type to try and hide anything. He and Yoo Ji Ahn dated openly and never tried to keep their relationship a secret. "He does not feel uncomfortable about going public with his relationship," said the Sidus HQ representative at the time. "A young man and woman meeting in such a natural way is nothing to be secretive about." But then Kim Woo Bin was not as famous a few months ago as he is now. Neither of them had ever made the headlines when they first started dating. Kim Woo Bin and Yoo Ji Ahn met in 2011 at a magazine photo shoot. He had been working as a runway model since 2006 and appeared in several fashion shows before his debut in the drama "White Christmas." He then went on to have a role in "Gentleman's Dignity" followed by a leading role in "School 2013" and also a part in the film "Friend 2." That was followed by his role as bad boy Choi Young Do in "The Heirs." It was this role that propelled him to international stardom.

After much consideration, he decided to sign with YG Entertainment in 2011 and revealed he had chosen the company as he was impressed by their demands to return to training to "hone his craft". In the same year he made his acting debut through the popular sitcom High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged. In 2013, months before the airing of YG's reality program, WIN, he had made a solo debut releasing multiple tracks notably "It Rains" which reached the top spot in multiple charts. Lee Seunghoon, the group's main dancer was also a former reality-singing contest alumni  K-pop Star Season 1 wherein he came in fourth place. YG recruited Lee himself, being one of the show's judges and had shown great admiration for him specifically for his choreography skills  during the series' run. Song Minho started out underground under the stage name "Mino" or "Hugeboy Mino" with former underground rappers-turned-idols namely Block B’s Zico, Kyung, P.O and M.I.B's SIMS. He was initially a trainee for the male group Block B but left the group before debut for personal reasons. In 2011, he made his debut as a rapper for the ballad group BoM under Y2Y Contents Company however the group was disbanded 2 years later due to the lack of popularity with the public. In 2013 he was recruited into YG through private auditions after being recognized from his acting debut in March 2012 in the cable drama The Strongest K-POP Survival in Channel A.

We are treated to another two sets of photos for each member today in addition to two sets of group photos, making it the most we have been given so far to round up this “test week” with a bang. rior to the group's debut, the leader Kang Seung-yoon was a former Superstar K2 contestant and was part of the final 4.  WIN where two teams (Team A & Team B) of trainees within YG Entertainment competed against each other in order to debut as the "new boy idol group" in 8 years since Big Bang. At the conclusion of the program the title of  WINNER was given to Team A who won all three rounds of the public voting.  WINNER was confirmed to make their official debut and start their promotions by the end of February 2014. Early reports said that the group was getting ready to debut with a mini album but in the 7th episode of Winner TV, Yang Hyun Suk had confirmed that the band would debut with a full album consisting of both self-composed and company-composed songs.

EXO’s Lay to MC for the First Time

In the revealed photo, Lay is seen dressed in a striped button-up shirt matched with a colorful floral tie, while holding a script in his hands. As it was his first try at taking part in a show as an MC, there are hints of nervousness and anxiety that can be seen on his face. The group was initially announced as set to debut in early 2011. The project name for the group was M1 (for EXO-K) and M2 (for EXO-M). SM Entertainment producer Lee Soo-man outlined plans for simultaneous debuts for the two groups. The debut was delayed, and it was set for early 2012. In December 2011, teasers began to surface concerning the members and a large number of video teasers were produced highlighting the talents of the individual members. Two showcases, one in South Korea for EXO-K and another in China for EXO-M, were held prior to the release of the mini album Mama on April 9, 2012. EXO-K had their debut performance on Inkigayo, and EXO-M first performed at the Yinyue Fengyun Bang Awards. The title track "Mama" was used as the promotional-song for the album. The mini album took the number one spot in South Korea, and ultimately sold 90,000 combined copies of the EXO-K and EXO-M versions. In addition, the album charted at number 2 in China, number 8 on the Billboard World Albums chart, and number 33 on the Oricon albums chart.

EXO is a boy group from SM Entertainment. EXO itself is a composite of two separate groups, EXO-K, and EXO-M, that sing in Korean and Mandarin Chinese respectively. The group simultaneously debuted in China and South Korea on April 8, 2012, with the mini-album Mama. Another photo of Lay cooking in a kitchen was also revealed, raising fans’ curiosity for what will happen on the broadcast. According to local media, Lay personally cooked up a complicated dish made out of crucian carp for the staff members during a segment that took place in the kitchen. EXO member Lay will be take a shot at being an MC for the very first time on a music show in China! On June 19, Chinese program “Music Billboard Charts” posted pictures of Lay’s appearance as a special temporary MC through their official Weibo, and described it as a great success.

Joe Chen Qiao En

Joe Chen Qiao En has been a lead on the popular TV drama "The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog," and she currently hosts two TV shows, "Treasure Hunter" and "Fated to Love You." Joe Chen Qiao En began her acting career in 2001, and began her singing career in 2004 with 7 Flowers. The group originally had 7 members, but now is down to 4, and she is one of the co-leaders of the group. She has appeared on a number of TV shows, and has participated in Idol Dramas, among other film appearances. She has written or co-written a number of songs for 7 Flowers, and the group has released 6 albums. Joe Chen Qiao En was born April 4th, 1979, in Taiwan, and she is a Taiwanese actress of Hakka origin. She has an interest in both acting and writing, and is a co-leader of the musical group 7 Flowers.  We still have a way to go until an air date is announced, although a cast member said on Weibo that he expected the drama to air in September. In the meantime, tide yourself over with an action-packed trailer and some newly released stills. The drama and the book it’s based off of, The Fate of Jinxiu by Nian Yi, both seem to be heavily focused on its heroine, but let’s not kid ourselves: in these new stills, Huang Xiaoming is the dominant force. In a way, this makes sense, since his character is described as the overbearing, authoritative, no-nonsense type.

Wrong. Apparently, they are promoting the terribly written drama, Beauties of the Emperor, again! Why oh why are people still re-airing this poorly done work? Let the nightmare disappear from my eyes. It looks my beloved couple can only generate romantic sparks onscreen because they claim tp be happy as friends. Hey, I’m a happy camper as long as they’re happy. They have this natural, flirty chemistry that works to their advantage. Joe Chen adds, “With Ming Dao, I know him too well, so well that there’s nothing else to know.” Beauties of the Emperor was her first period drama and she was glad that Ming Dao’s presence made her feel comfortable in a new environment. Ming Dao follows up with stories about them eating out after work and how he never thought twice to call her in the middle of the night to talk. Even when she was sleep, he knew she would pick up to chat with him. Joe jokes, “People think it’s romantic but he’s a hassle, talking about nonsense.” She further reveals that when they were filming in Taiwan, he would pick her up and drop her off everyday. At first she thought he was courting her, but alas, that was not the case.

God's Gift - 14 Days

Kim Soo-hyun is a mother whose young daughter Han Saet-byul gets kidnapped and murdered. While Saet-byul plays with the toys, Tattoo Hand sees his son in her place, remembering how he’d assembled Legos with his boy, back when his hand had been free of the revenge tattoo. He shows Saet-byul how to assemble some toys, and nods yes when she asks if he’ll send her home afterward. Cheered, she starts eating and playing. Watching this entire exchange via video is the presidential chief of staff Lee Myung-han, aka Ji-hoon’s former boss who’d steered the Moojin case in the wrong direction. He reviews the casefiles and looks at profiles for Dong-chan, Dong-ho, and Young-gyu. Should I be worried that there’s a brain scan photograph attached to Dong-chan’s file? Now we see that the president had given Chief of Staff Lee the task of investigating the Moojin photograph. Lee had been upset to hear that it originated from Te-oh and ordered mouths to be silenced.

Inspiring Generation

Inspiring Generation is a 2014 South Korean television series starring Kim Hyun-joong, Im Soo-hyang and Jin Se-yeon. It aired on KBS2 from January 15 to April 3, 2014 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 24 episodes. Based on the manhwa by Bang Hak-gi (published daily by Sports Seoul from June 1985 to June 1988), the drama series had a budget of US$14 million and its story depicts the loves, friendships and patriotism of young Korean independence fighters in 1930s Shanghai.

Takes over the KBS2 Wed. & Thu. 21:55 time slot previously occupied by "Bel Ami" and will be followed by "Golden Cross" April, 2014. Based on the comic series "Inspiring Generation" by Bang Hak-Ki (published by daily newspaper Sports Seoul from June, 1985 to June, 1988) First script reading took place October, 2013 at KBS Annex Building in Seoul. "Inspiring Generation" was originally scheduled to air beginning in November, 2013, but due to the extensive overseas filming, the series has been postponed to January, 2013. Actress Kim So-Eun was originally cast to play Kim Ok-Ryeon, but dropped out due to filming delays and scheduling conflicts. In her place, Jin Se-Yeon plays Kim Ok-Ryeon. Screenwriter was changed from ep.1-10 (Chae Seung-Dae) to ep.11-24 (Park Kye-Ok). Actor Kim Jae-Wook who plays Kim Soo-Ok dropped out of the drama series. His last appearance is in episode 8.

Sandara Park

Sandara Park born November 12, 1984 better known as Dara & Sandy is a South Korean idol singer, actress, dancer and model. She is best known as being a member and the director of communications of the South Korean girl group 2NE1. She first gained major popularity on ABS-CBN's Star Circle Quest during her stay in the Philippines. Her younger brother, Park Sang-Hyun, better known as Cheondung, is a member of boy band MBLAQ under J. Tune Entertainment, a subsidiary of JYP Entertainment. Dara released her first digital single "Kiss" in 2009 and it was included as the 9th track in 2NE1's first studio album To Anyone in 2010.

Park joined ABS-CBN's entertainment stable called Star Magic in the wake of her success in the show, with her projects ranging from commercial endorsements to television appearances. She starred in her first movie Bcuz Of U (2004), a three-story movie. She acted alongside Hero Angeles, and Filipino actresses Kristine Hermosa and Heart Evangelista. Park won "Best New Actress", her first acting award, in the 21st Philippine Movie Press Club Star Awards. Park and Angeles launched their first solo movie, Can This Be Love (2005) which reportedly grossed almost 100 million pesos. Park was also nominated for "Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role (Musical or Comedy)" at the 2006 Golden Screen Awards. Her third movie in the country was D' Lucky Ones (2006) wherein she was paired with co-SCQ alumnus, Joseph Bitangcol due to Angeles' decision to retire from show business. In the same year, her fourth and last movie Super Noypi was shown in Christmas 2006 and was an official entry into the 32nd Metro Manila Film Festival. The success of Park in the Philippines lead her to star in a drama series. One was Krystala, a fantasy series with Judy Ann Santos. She also acted in various series Crazy For You (2006) and Abt Ur Luv (2006) and television specials My Name is Sandara Park (2004), SCQ Reload: OK Ako! (2004) and Nuts Entertainment (2006) of GMA Network.

Before her debut, she was featured in a TV drama The Return of Iljimae as Rie, and she also appeared as the lead actress in Gummy's music video for "I'm Sorry", together with labelmate T.O.P, one of the members of Big Bang. In August 2009, Park was featured on G-Dragon's solo album Heartbreaker, with their song entitled "Hello". They performed together a couple of times on music events, shows, and also during G-Dragon's two-day solo concert entitled Shine A Light in December 2009. On September 7, 2009, Park was the first among the members of 2NE1 to release a digital single. Entitled "Kiss", the song was produced by Teddy Park and was featured in Park's first commercial for Oriental Brewery's Cass Beer series alongside K-Drama actor Lee Min Ho. The song also featured fellow member CL as a rapper and peaked at #5 on the Gaon Chart. In July 2010, Park was featured as the female lead in Taeyang's "I Need A Girl" music video. Two versions were made for the music video. In April 18, 2011, Park announced that she has been officially promoted to the Communications Director of 2NE1. In order to officialize her promotion, YG Entertainment gave Park her own Certificate of Appointment.

Song Joong-ki

During high school, Song Joong-ki competed at the higher level for short track speed skating. Representing his hometown, the city of Daejeon, Song participated in the National Games three times and won awards at other large meets. During his first year of high school, however, he was injured and had to quit the sport. He then turned his attention to his studies, which improved his grades dramatically and he received the highest grades for all his subjects. Having scored 380 points out of 400 on his national college entrance, he entered the prestigious Sungkyunkwan University. Song would later play a national speed skater in the TV series Triple. Because of his timid personality, his parents had sent Song to a variety of classes, including acting classes, to improve his social skills. During his sophomore year in college, Song's sterling academic record as a business administration major took a dip when he finally decided to pursue acting seriously. He made his television debut as a contestant on KBS's Quiz Korea, making it all the way to the finals (but not winning). Song also became a cover model for College Tomorrow.

Song Joong Ki recently starred in a secret project, planned by the organization Coupang, to help a young girl with a tough life. The project was revealed via a moving video posted on the 26th. The girl's father passed away at an early age, and her elder brother works away from home. Thus, the young girl must take care of her alcoholic mother and younger siblings, including a younger brother who suffers from a mental illness. As the video follows their lives, it is also revealed that on top of all of that, the family's home was burned to the ground in a fire. The team worked together to build a home for the family and fill it with household items and clothing. The project took 45 days, 135 volunteers, and more than 1,200 sponsors to make possible.

Song published the book Beautiful Skin Project, a bestselling health and beauty guide for men (which was re-released in Japan in 2013. In late 2010, he went on a bicycling tour around Sydney, Australia, which aired two episodes on TV via ELLE, an offshoot of the eponymous fashion magazine. Moreover, a TV special of the actor's trip to Japan entitled I'm Real: Song Joong-ki aired two parts in early 2011. And despite the low ratings of jTBC audition program Made in U, Song was commended for his smooth hosting skills as MC. As a jobless deadbeat in the 2011 romantic comedy Penny Pinchers (also known as Love and Cash), a film review described Song as going seamlessly from slapstick comedy to a "charismatic", "swoon-worthy leading man with a viable presence." Despite advice to the contrary, Song took on the role of the young king Sejong in Deep Rooted Tree although his stint was only four episodes long. He read many unofficial historical accounts and laid the character foundation for lead actor Han Suk-kyu, saying he felt that "a challenging role was more worthwhile than being in a lead role of a miniseries." Critics praised Song's performance, calling it a portrayal of a genius who "realizes the futility of power early in life" and hides in his books to cope with growing up under the rule of his tyrannical father Taejong.

Kim Soo-hyun

Kim Soo-hyun was very quiet in middle school and no one expected him to enter the entertainment field. He first started acting in high school to change his reserved personality, but as he diligently memorized scripts and practiced for school plays, Kim's aspiration to truly become an actor grew. He enrolled in Chung-Ang University, majoring in Theater and Film Studies. He appeared in the musicals Grease and A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2003.

He became a household name in 2011, playing a country bumpkin who turns out to be a musical genius in the teen drama Dream High. The only young actor in the main cast with no K-pop experience, Kim "studied song and dance for three months at JYP Entertainment so he could pull off the required scenes in the drama. He lived no differently from other trainees at JYP. He learned singing and dancing for hours every day" according to the production company. He recorded two songs for Dream High's soundtrack, his solo "Dreaming" as well the title track "Dream High" sang by the rest of the cast. He appeared in several music programs and concerts after the drama's completion and also made a cameo in the pilot episode of its second season.

His popularity skyrocketed when he starred in hit period drama Moon Embracing the Sun, which was number one in its time slot and at its peak recorded viewer ratings of 42.2 percent. He again contributed his vocals to the soundtrack, the traditional ballad "Only You" which topped digital music charts, and the more modern in composition "Another Way" released as a "Secret Version" single. He later won Best Drama Actor at the 2012 Baeksang Arts Awards, a win which was hotly debated as he was the youngest and newest actor among the nominees in his category, beating heavyweight veterans such as Han Suk-kyu, Shin Ha-kyun and Cha Seung-won. Upon receiving the trophy, Kim said, "I am very grateful for this moment, but I am ashamed as well. It’s like getting a lot of homework. I’ll keep trying to become a better actor in order to remain worthy of this award."

Kim Joon Myeon

Suho is the leader of Exo-K. Born Kim Joon-myun on May 22, 1991 (age 23) in Seoul, South Korea. Suho was an active student and earned good grades during grade school. He was the class president at his primary school and the vice chairman at his high school. At sixteen, he became the first member of EXO to become a trainee at SM, and was discovered through the company's street casting system in 2006. In 2007, Suho was cast as an extra in the Super Junior film, Attack on the Pin-Up Boys, and in 2008, he made a brief appearance in TVXQ's music video, "HaHaHa Song" with fellow Exo bandmates Kai and Chanyeol. Suho was cast as the lead in the Christmas movie Saving Santa, dubbing the voice of the main character Bernard, along with A-Pink's Jung Eunji and Shin Dong-Yeob. On February 15, 2012, Suho was introduced as the tenth member of Exo. Pursuing a degree in acting, he currently attends Korea National University of Arts and is ranked in the top 50 of 400 students at the school. He enjoys listening to funk rock and has expressed his admiration for Super Junior's leader, Leeteuk, and TVXQ's leader, U-Know Yunho.

Exo is a South Korean-Chinese boy band produced by S.M. Entertainment that debuted in 2012. Exo comprises twelve members who are separated into two subgroups. Exo-K and Exo-M. The former releases music in South Korea, while the latter promotes music in mainland China. Exo's name was taken from exoplanet, a term referring to planets outside of the Solar System. In January 2011, producer Lee Soo-man of S.M. Entertainment announced his plans to debut a new boy band in March or April 2011. Temporarily named M1, the group appeared to have consisted of only seven members when a photo of them in a dance studio was leaked online. In May 2011, Lee spoke about the group in a Hallyu business seminar held in Stanford University. In the presentation, he explained his strategy of separating the group into two subgroups, M1 and M2, and have them promote the same music in South Korea and China, performing the songs in both Korean and Mandarin. Lee planned to launch the group in May 2011, but their debut was delayed due to member changes and other planning. News concerning the group did not surface until October 2011, when Lee briefly discussed about the group's concept plans again in an interview with The Chosun Ilbo. Once the members and plans were finalized, the group began to prepare for their official debut.

Exo's debut single, "Mama", was released in April 2012. The single was a moderate success; Exo-M's version topped mainland Chinese music charts after only one day of release, and Exo-K's "Mama" music video reached to number seven on YouTube's Global Chart. The group's two albums, the 2012 debut EP Mama and the 2013 comeback studio album XOXO, were major commercial successes, selling over 1.5 million units in total worldwide. With XOXO, Exo became the youngest boy band to win Album of the Year at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, and the fastest-selling K-pop artist in twelve years. The lead singles off XOXO, "Wolf" and "Growl," were hits, landing first place trophies on music shows from all three of Korea's major free-to-air broadcast stations. The latter also peaked at number three on Billboard's Korea K-Pop Hot 100 chart.

Huang Zitao

 Tao is from Qingdao, Shandong, China. He attended Humen Centre Primary School, one of the most prestigious primary schools in Qingdao, and Qingdao Middle School. Tao is a martial artist, and has been practicing Wushu since he was five years old. He competed in several martial arts championships in Qingdao, and won the "Top Rap Award" at Beijing 3rd Annual Collage Street Jam. [citation needed] In 2010, Tao appeared as an extra in the ninth episode of the mainland Chinese idol drama, That Love Comes. Tao auditioned for S.M. Entertainment's global casting system in Qingdao and became an S.M. Entertainment trainee in late 2010. He was one of the last Exo members to join S.M. Entertainment and had a training period of less than one year. On December 27, 2011, Tao was formally introduced to the public as the third member of  Exo. Along with Lu Han, Chen, and Exo-K's Kai, Tao made his first televised performance on SBS's Gayo Daejun event on December 29, 2011.

He officially joined SM Entertainment in 2010 after winning 1st place in an SM Entertainment Global Audition held in Qingdao, China. He was officially introduced as a member of EXO on December 27th 2011. During his time as a trainee, he was picked on by other trainees because he was Chinese and because he got to debut so quickly after joining SM Entertainment. Tao’s first TV appearance was on SBS’s Gayo Daejun on December 29th, 2011. He appeared alongside Kai, Luhan, and Chen. His favorite animal is a black cat. He’s very conservative (kept to himself and mysterious). In China, his roommate is Xiumin. In Korea, his roommate is his manager (his manager thought it’d be best because Tao still needs to work on his Korean), and on the road he rooms up with Kris. He won first place in many Wushu and rap competitions. His ideal type is someone who is pretty, has a great personality, and has a good body. He knows how to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and Korean. Sometimes during interviews, his mood sulks because he isn’t able to speak Korean fluently like the other members.

According to fans, Huang Zitao accidentally “liked” a fanfiction (T/N: The chinese phrase used means they are paired together in the fic) about EXO-K’s member Oh Sehun and him, and got teased by fans, hence he changed his profile, to show his gloominess: “ Don’t want to explain anything anymore, don’t know anything. Can only say that weibo is a “pit”. Regarding Huang Zitao’s rant, fans on one side are consoling him: “Don’t mind us, everyone is just playing around”, but on the other side did not forget to tease him: “Taozi is too Tsundere.” What will Huang Zitao think after he knows about this, But this is also a way that fans are showing their love for Huang Zitao, hope he doesn’t mind.

Byun Baek-hyun

Byun Baek-hyun Born on May 6, 1992 (age 22) in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, he is former pupil of Jungwon High School. Baekhyun was a member of the school's band and attended several musical festivals, later winning an award at a local rock festival prior to joining S.M. Entertainment in 2011 through the S.M. Casting System. Baekhyun was studying for his college musical entrance exams when he joined the label. Baekhyun was one of the last members to join Exo, and was revealed as the group's ninth member on January 30, 2012. Byun has cited Rain as one of his main influences and hopes to emulate Rain's "well-rounded" success.
