Bae Su Ji

Bae Sue-ji born October 10, 1994, commonly known by her stage name Suzy, is a South Korean idol singer, rapper, dancer, actress, model and MC. She is best known for her roles as Go Hye-mi in the KBS2 TV series' Dream High, Jang Ma Ri in Big, young Yang Seo Yeon in the movie Architecture 101, and Dam Yeo Wool in the MBC TV series' Gu Family Book. She is a member of the Korean girl group miss A, which debuted under JYP Entertainment along with AQ Entertainment in 2010. She was ranked at #14 on The 2013 Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces.

In March 2010, Suzy joined fellow members Fei and Jia to form the group miss A. The trio began their first official promotional activities in China as a group by signing up with the Samsung Electronics group in China. The group released a song used for the commercial called "Love Again" for the Samsung Beat Festival. The song was written by Korean composer Super Changddai, and the music video was directed by Hong Won Ki. The group was later joined by a fourth member, Min. The four piece girl group eventually made their debut in July 2010 through JYP Entertainment, with the single "Bad Girl Good Girl" After a successful promotion period of seven weeks, the group came back in October with a new title track, "Breathe", from the second single Step Up.

Suzy was born in Gwangju, South Korea on October 10, 1994. She attended Seoul Performing Arts High School. Before debuting, she was an online shopping model. In 2009, she auditioned for Mnet Superstar K and made it through the preliminary round but she was ultimately eliminated. However, she caught the attention of a scout from JYP Entertainment and soon became a trainee. After training for a year, she was paired with fellow members Fei and Jia. After the addition of Min into the group, the four of them prepared to debut as miss A.
